A real night out, not a structured dating format

The event programme does not include icebreakers, introductory rounds, or host-facilitated activities. Attendees arrive, move through the venue as they choose, and interact at their own discretion. The DJ, dancefloor, and bar operate as they would at any club night. There is no point in the evening where participation in social or romantic interaction becomes expected or prompted by the event format itself.

Arrival and entry

Show your ticket, step inside, and feel the Rotterdam vibe! Entry is smooth, so the fun starts right away.

Initial social phase

Grab a drink, find a cozy corner to chat, or explore the lively areas to mingle. The early evening is perfect for easing in and meeting new people.

Main event flow

The DJ turns up the music, energy builds, and the dance floor comes alive. Laugh, dance, and enjoy every moment!

Open interaction period

Chat, connect, and exchange numbers if the vibe feels right. Everything is relaxed no pressure, just fun and spontaneity.

Closing phase

As the night winds down, our team ensures everyone leaves safely hopefully with new friends, a few sparks, and great memories!

What People Are Saying?

I liked that it didn’t feel staged or like a dating game. Just a normal night out where everyone happens to be single. I had great conversations and danced a lot.

Eva de Hoog
The music kept changing just enough to keep everyone moving. Bar got a bit busy, but that didn’t ruin the vibe. One of the better nights out recently.

Who Attends SINGLZ Rotterdam?

Who sttends and what the crowd looks like.

SINGLZ Rotterdam is for all single adults who want a fun night out! There are no restrictions on gender, background, or experience the only rule is that you’re single.

You’ll find a mix of ages, personalities, and social styles, all sharing the same lively venue and enjoying the evening together. Whether you come solo or with friends, the night is designed to make mingling easy and natural.

All attendees must be 18 or older. The event is not segmented by age group — all categories share the same venue and event space throughout the evening.
No gender restrictions apply. Ticket sales are monitored across gender categories to inform balance management, but access is open regardless of gender identity.
No restrictions apply based on nationality, cultural background, or city of origin. City of residence is collected at registration for audience composition monitoring only.
Single status is the sole eligibility requirement. This cannot be independently verified, but it is clearly stated as the core rule of the event at every point of communication and purchase.

What kind of person gets the most from this format

SINGLZ works best for singles who enjoy a lively social environment and like to connect naturally. There’s no schedule, no assigned partners, and no structured activities the more you engage and chat at your own pace, the more fun you’ll have. You don’t need to be a social pro, just open, curious, and ready to enjoy the night!

From 5:00 PM — Doors Open

Attendees arrive and enter the venue using their purchased ticket. Entry is individual; there is no group intake process, registration desk, or name badge system on arrival.

Early Evening — Crowd Builds

The venue fills gradually. Music is active from the start. The bar is open. The social environment develops organically as attendance density increases. No activities are scheduled during this phase.

Main Part of the Evening

The DJ set and dancefloor are the primary focal points. Attendees move through the venue at their own pace — bar, dancefloor, and social areas are all accessible throughout. There are no checkpoints, rotations, or prompted interactions at any stage.

Until 1:00 AM — Close

The event concludes at approximately 1:00 AM. There is no formal closing segment. Contact details, if exchanged, are exchanged between individuals independently. Singlz does not collect or facilitate post-event contact.

What to realistically consider before attending your first event.

The format requires self-direction

There are no facilitated introductions, no scheduled activities, and no host guiding the social flow of the evening. Attendees who are accustomed to structured social formats may find the absence of direction unfamiliar. The environment is open, but it does not create interaction — it provides conditions in which interaction can occur naturally.

Crowd composition varies by event

While Singlz actively monitors ticket sales to maintain age and gender balance, the specific composition of any individual event depends on actual sales at the time. Balance is managed, not guaranteed. Attendees with specific expectations about the demographic mix of a given event should be aware that this cannot be confirmed in advance.

Single status is an honour-based condition

The requirement that all attendees be single is clearly communicated but cannot be independently verified at the point of entry. The event operates on the basis of a shared social contract. Attendees should understand this limitation and calibrate their expectations accordingly rather than assuming the condition has been enforced with the same rigour as a formal eligibility check.

Ticket price increases closer to the event date

The tiered pricing structure means that later purchases cost more. Early bird availability is limited and not guaranteed at any given event. Attendees who are uncertain about attending but considering a late decision should be aware that late-tier tickets at €25 may also reach capacity before the event date.

Refunds are subject to third-party policy

Standard tickets are not refundable through Singlz directly. Ticket protection at €1.68 is available as an optional add-on through Weeztix and enables refund requests to be processed under Weeztix's own policy. Attendees who anticipate any uncertainty about attendance should review that policy at the point of purchase rather than after the event date has passed.

FAQ

Not really. There are no rounds, no timers, no assigned seats, and no pressure to talk to anyone specific. The format is a regular club night where everyone happens to be single. Whether you end up in conversation with someone depends entirely on how the evening unfolds naturally, not on a structure imposed by the event.

Singlz actively tracks ticket sales across three age brackets: 18–30, 30–45, and 45+. The goal is a balanced mix, so no single group dominates the room. That said, balance is managed, not guaranteed. If you're in the 45+ bracket, you won't be isolated, but checking ticket availability close to the event can give you a rough sense of demand by category.

You enter a functioning club night with music, a bar, and a crowd that already knows the shared context. Most people arrive in a similar mindset, open but relaxed. There's no ceremony, no name badges, no icebreaker games. How much you engage is entirely up to you. The environment is designed to reduce pressure, not manufacture interaction.

That depends on how full the event is running. Late tickets reflect limited availability, not added perks. If balance across age groups and genders is close to capacity, waiting for the next event may give you a better overall experience at a lower price point. Early bird pricing exists for a reason it rewards planning.

Yes, and you should. Both the Singlz event team and venue security are available throughout the night specifically for this. You don't need to wait until the end or handle it yourself. Approach any visible staff member or security and the situation will be reviewed. You are not expected to tolerate anything that makes you uncomfortable.

Attending with a friend is fine. The event doesn't require you to arrive solo. The core rule is that both of you are actually single, not that you navigate the evening alone. Coming with someone familiar can actually make it easier to settle in before branching out socially.

There are no interaction quotas or expectations. If you spend the evening at the bar and on the dancefloor without speaking to anyone new, that's entirely acceptable. The event creates an environment where connection is possible, not obligatory.

Once contact details are exchanged, it's entirely between the two people involved. Singlz doesn't facilitate post-event matching, messaging, or introductions. What happens after the night is independent of the event itself.

A single event is a limited sample. Crowd composition, energy, and timing vary between events. If the format itself felt comfortable, attending again with different expectations, treating it as a social night rather than a specific outcome tends to be a more sustainable approach than evaluating it as a one-off result.

You don't, with certainty and Singlz is transparent about this. Verification isn't possible. What the ticketing requirement and clear communication do is establish a shared social contract. Most people attend because the premise appeals to them. That self-selection tends to set a different tone than a generic club night, even without formal enforcement.
At Singlz, it’s not just about dating, t’s about discovering, enjoying, and connecting.
